What more could a Sheepie want except hugs and kisses… and plenty of them. Happy to oblige beautiful Duffy and just wish we could still plant them on you. Miss you big wet nose in my face every morning waking me up, and your snoring at all hours…

Carly, she was such a gorgeous, funny, one-of-a-kind girl. It breaks my heart to think of her gone but I’m so glad she reached 16 and had her birthday treats…so glad I had the chance to meet and celebrate her…and very grateful that you shared her beautiful pics…
Thinking of you grieving for Duffy…I read an article recently that I found very helpful. It said that, contrary to what we often think, grief is not linear, it’s not a slow progression towards healing…it’s a zigzag, a terrible back-and-forth from devastated to okay until finally there are more okay patches and fewer devastated ones. It went onto say that the mind can’t handle emotions like grief for any sustained period of time, so it takes some downtime…which provides us with much needed respite while we’re missing them so much….
